Eat Local Challenge 

 
The rules are simple! And there are no food police:

The challenge is from Sept 15-22, 2008. We ask folks to eat foods grown or produced within 100 miles or within the state of Vermont. There are 5 wildcards a day to accomodate coffee, chocolate, and avocado urges. Eat locally - but spice and leaven globally - to paraphrase Bill McKibben. You can have spices or leavenings from anywhere in the world, in other words. That's it - those are the rules. Take the pledge by emailing localvore at comcast dot net.
